The KCB Quality Management System is designed and implemented to specifically support the Hi-Rel Space and Defense industries. KCB has established a Quality Manual along with many of the supporting procedures necessary to support our business. The purpose of the manual and the associated procedures is to describe the Quality Management processes and the relationship between those procedures that collectively control operations at KCB Solutions. KCB maintains documented procedures to control purchasing activities to ensure purchased product conforms to requirements on the purchase order. The type and extent of control that KCB exercises over the supplier is dependent upon the impact of their product or service on the quality of KCB’s product. All products purchased from suppliers, subcontractors and customer designated sources are inspected in accordance with the appropriate KCB Solutions procedure.
KCB Solution’s commitment to continual improvement of our processes and the quality of products supplied to our customers has led us to begin our Supplier Certification Program.
This program necessitates that our suppliers be considered an extension of our manufacturing and business processes. Our objective is a total partnership concept, which includes shared process improvement, opportunity, knowledge, technology, forecasts and customer support.
ANSI/ESD S20.20 The purpose of this Program is to provide continuous ESD protection to all static sensitive material, preventing damage or degradation due to exposure to static fields, discharges, and voltage transients. Protection will extend from receipt through shipment and encompass all handling, processing and storage activities including assembly, testing, inspection, packaging, labeling and any other activities that require handling of electronic parts, assemblies or equipment susceptible to damage by ESD.
