Document Control Specialist

KCB Solutions, LLC, leading manufacturer of RF and Microwave surface mount components within the Military, Aerospace, and Satellite Industries, is looking for a skilled and team oriented individual to join the KCB team.

Primary Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Quality team, the Document Control Specialist is responsible for the administration of all documents within the Quality System. This position performs support tasks relating to the maintenance of the document control system as well as other general tasks needed to support overall product and documentation quality.

Primary activities include:
• Manage and facilitate release of new documents and control change of existing documents within the KCB Configuration Management process.
• Ensure that all Controlled Document Change Orders are completed correctly IAW documented processes.
• Maintain the KCB Library and ERP System to the highest possible integrity; ensuring that all controlled documents are properly stored IAW existing structure and hierarchy and that the ERP database is up to date and in lock step with the Library.
• Ensure that all completed records are properly stored IAW KCB record retention procedures.
• Control distribution of new documents and recall/destruction of obsolete documents.
• Proof read all change documents for proper formatting, correct spelling, punctuation and general accuracy.
• Support the records management and retention.
• Prepare periodic status reports as requested by management.

Experience/Requirements:
• Associate’s Degree in science or business administration required.
• 5 years prior experience in maintenance of document control systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Experience in quality system audits preferred.
• Prior experience using E2 Shop System ERP Software a plus.
• Must be available to work at the Shirley, Massachusetts headquarters location (relocation assistance is not available.)
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (employment visa sponsorship is not available.)
• Must be able to pass a background check investigation.

Microelectronic Assembler

KCB Solutions, LLC, leading manufacturer of RF and Microwave surface mount components within the Military, Aerospace, and Satellite Industries, is looking for a skilled and team oriented individual to join the KCB team.

Primary Responsibilities:
As key part of the manufacturing team this position will be responsible for meeting established assembly and shipment goals.

Primary activities include:
• Hand mounting of complex hybrid devices with attention to tight tolerance placement of critical components.
• Hot gas die attach.
• Wire bonding: Ribbon bonding, Wire bonding, and Ball bonding.
• Package sealing: Solder sealing and Seam Sealing.
• Leak Testing: Fine and Gross.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Experience/Requirements:
• Minimum education of High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the microelectronic manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with Westbond ribbon and wire bonding.
• Must have working knowledge of Mil Spec 833 as it applies to the manufacturing of electronic components.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to use tweezers and microscopes.
• Must be team oriented.
• Must be available to work at the Shirley, Massachusetts headquarters location (relocation assistance is not available.)
