ANSI/ESD S20.20: The purpose of this Program is to provide continuous ESD protection to all static sensitive material, preventing damage or degradation due to exposure to static fields, discharges, and voltage transients. Protection will extend from receipt through shipment and encompass all handling, processing and storage activities including assembly, testing, inspection, packaging, labeling and any other activities that require handling of electronic parts, assemblies or equipment susceptible to damage by ESD.
